Secondary Music Teacher Position

Shackleton International School is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Music Teacher with experience and vocation to lead and develop our Music programme across Secondary.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and deliver an engaging Music curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (IGCSE).

– Design and develop the Music curriculum for the IB Diploma Programme, launching in September 2026.

– Create performance-based and project-based learning experiences, including composition and digital music production.

– Coordinate performances, ensembles, and musical events that showcase student talent.

– Foster a vibrant musical culture within the school community.

– Act as a mentor and role model, supporting students’ personal growth, confidence, and creativity.

– Manage Music resources and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements:

– Degree in Music (or a related field) and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

– Experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 (IGCSE).

– Experience teaching KS5 (IB) is highly desirable.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 (Key Stage 1) team. If you are passionate about supporting children (ages 6–7) as they build foundational academic skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

-Support the Class Teacher in delivering the British National Curriculum.

-Lead small-group interventions in Literacy (Phonics/Reading) and Numeracy.

Profesor/a de Castellano y Valenciano

Descripción del puesto:
Shackleton International School busca incorporar un docente de Castellano y Valenciano con experiencia y vocación para cubrir, inicialmente, una baja durante el año 2026. El candidato seleccionado tendrá la posibilidad de continuar en el centro si ambas partes están satisfechas con la colaboración.

Requisitos imprescindibles:
-Titulación universitaria en Filología Española o similar.
-Nivel C2 de Valenciano (abstenerse candidaturas que no cumplan este requisito).
-Nivel de inglés B2 (fluido) imprescindible, capaz de comunicarse con soltura con los alumnos y el personal docente en el entorno educativo.
-Experiencia demostrable en la enseñanza de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) y Bachillerato en centros españoles de enseñanza reglada.
-Se valorará que el candidato tenga experiencia en IB DP.
Competencias y actitudes valoradas:
-Capacidad de adaptarse a la metodología y dinámica del centro.
-Disposición para aportar ideas innovadoras que enriquezcan la enseñanza.
